In Pictures: Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome: Park Tour

The Atomic Bomb Dome is located next to the river in central Hiroshima City. If you're coming from Hiroshima Station or the bus center then it will be the first monument you'll see in the park.

The twisted and blown out remains of the Atomic Bomb Dome are a symbol of the devastation Hiroshima City faced after the atomic bombing. The remains of the Prefectural Industrial Promotion Building were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. (Read More: Park Tour)
