In Pictures: Ueno Zoological Park: Animal Farm

Ling Ling is currently the only panda at Ueno Zoo. Historically, the zoo has tried to keep a breeding pair but now poor Ling Ling flies to Mexico to date other pandas.

Ueno Zoo was the first zoo to open in Japan. Fittingly, Ueno Park was also the first in Japan as well. The zoo covers 14.3 hectares (35.2 acres) and has over 450 different species in large landscaped enclosures. (Read More: Animal Farm)
